Privacy Policy

In the course of its activities, HJC EUROPE collects and processes the personal data of its customers, Internet users who visit and use the services offered on its site and persons who contact it directly (hereinafter the "Data Subjects").

The purpose of this Privacy Policy (hereinafter, the "Policy") is to set out the terms and conditions for the processing of personal data of Data Subjects. They are invited to read it carefully to understand their rights.

HJC EUROPE respects the texts and principles applicable to the protection of personal data, which means that these data are

    processed in a lawful, fair and transparent manner ;
    collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and not used in a way that is incompatible with those purposes;
    relevant and limited to what is necessary for the purposes for which they are processed;
    accurate and kept up to date;
    kept only for the time necessary for the purposes indicated;
    kept in a secure manner.

Data Subjects may notify HJC EUROPE (for the attention of the Data Protection Officer) of any changes to their personal data by mail or e-mail, attaching a copy of a proof of identity, as indicated in Article I above.


HJC EUROPE collects and processes the following personal data:

    Identification and contact data: name, first name, email, postal address, telephone number. This information is collected when the Data Subject fills in the contact form, subscribes to the newsletter, creates an account on the site and/or places an order with HJC EUROPE.
    Banking data: this information is processed during the payment of the order.
    Connection data: this information is collected during the navigation on the HJC EUROPE website.

The information identified by an asterisk (*) on the website must be filled in. Otherwise, HJC EUROPE will not be able to provide the services offered.


Personal Data are processed by HJC EUROPE for the following purposes

    the management and processing of customer orders;
    the invoicing of orders and the management of possible unpaid invoices;
    the implementation of the guarantees attached to its products;
    the treatment of the requests sent via the form of contact present on the site ..., in the heading "contact us";
    manage the sending of newsletters and establish statistics relating to this service;
    to provide all the services made available on the website and to ensure that the presentation of the website is optimal for users;
    to manage and respond to requests to exercise rights in relation to the processing of personal data;
    to meet its legal and regulatory obligations.

The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the following legal bases:

    the consent of the Data Subjects, in particular when registering for the newsletter or creating an account on the site;
    the execution of contracts signed with HJC EUROPE (product orders);
    the pursuit of HJC EUROPE's legitimate interests, with respect to the rights of the Data Subjects.


HJC EUROPE keeps the data related to the processing, payment and delivery of an order for a maximum of ... years from the date of delivery or the last contact with the customer (telephone contact or correspondence).

The data filled in for the creation of an account on the site is kept until the account is deleted.

Data related to an information request sent via the contact form are kept for 1 year from the closing of the request.

As far as the newsletter is concerned, HJC EUROPE keeps the e-mail address of the person concerned as long as he/she does not unsubscribe, via the unsubscribe link integrated in each newsletter.



Personal data of Data Subjects may be transferred, to the extent necessary, to (i) any person acting on behalf of HJC EUROPE, (ii) HJC EUROPE's service providers, including its logistics providers, and where appropriate (iii) judicial authorities and institutions.

If necessary, this data will be shared with the competent authorities or courts, in particular in order for HJC EUROPE to comply with its legal and regulatory obligations. In this case, HJC EUROPE will take all necessary measures to inform the Data Subjects in advance, unless prohibited by law.

The personal data collected are exclusively reserved to HJC EUROPE. No transfers are made outside the European Union.


HJC EUROPE implements appropriate organizational, technical and software measures for physical and computer security to protect personal data against loss, unauthorized access, disclosure or alteration.

All processed personal data is stored on secure servers.

Paper files containing personal data are stored in secure facilities and deleted or anonymized at the end of the appropriate retention period.


The Persons concerned are informed that they have, under the conditions laid down by the law, the rights listed in the table below.

They can exercise these rights, free of charge, by contacting HJC EUROPE at the address indicated in Article 1 and by attaching a copy of a proof of identity to their request.

Right of access

Data Subjects have the right to obtain from HJC EUROPE confirmation as to whether or not their personal data are being processed and, if so, access to such data, as well as information about the purposes of the processing.
HJC EUROPE reserves the right not to respond to requests that are manifestly unfounded, excessive or repeated.

Right of rectification

The Data Subjects have the right to obtain from HJC EUROPE the rectification of their personal data that they consider inaccurate.

Right to be forgotten

    the data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or processed;
    they decide to withdraw their consent (when the processing is based on consent);
    they object to the processing of their data by means of automated processes using technical specifications;
    their data has been processed unlawfully;
    their data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation;
    erasure is required to ensure compliance with applicable law.

Right to limit processing

Data Subjects have the right to obtain from HJC EUROPE the erasure of their personal data, when:

    they contest the accuracy of such data;
    HJC EUROPE no longer needs the data for the purpose of processing; or
    they have objected to the processing on legitimate grounds.

Right to withdraw consent

Data Subjects have the right to withdraw their consent to the processing of their data, if such processing is based on consent. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on consent, carried out prior to the withdrawal of consent.

Right to data portability

Data Subjects have the right to receive the personal data concerning them that they have provided to HJC EUROPE, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, where:

    the processing of their data is based on their consent or on an existing contractual relationship; and
    the processing is carried out using automated processes.

Data Subjects also have the right to have their personal data transmitted directly to a third party of their choice (where technically possible).

Right to object to processing in the context of direct marketing

Data Subjects have the right to object to the processing of their personal data, including profiling or commercial communications.

Right not to be subject to automated decisions

Data Subjects have the right not to be subject to a decision based exclusively on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning them or significantly affects them.

Right to issue advance directives on the processing of personal data after their death

Pursuant to Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, Data Subjects may define directives relating to the retention, deletion and communication of their personal data after their death or designate a person responsible for exercising these rights.

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority
